2026 AMT Winter Economic Forum

Join AMT’s annual Winter Economic Forum live in Cincinnati or virtually on Jan. 30. Using Trade Shows To Build Your Brand and Generate Qualified Leads

Despite the increasingly decentralized nature of B2B sales, there's no substitute for the face-to-face trust-building that happens at in-person events. Trade shows like IMTS don't just generate leads -- they build your brand long after the show closes.

Raising a Cup

As people ease back into work after Thanksgiving, most will, at some point, reach for a cup of coffee for a jolt of energy. Unfortunately, a different jolt may await them: While food inflation has garnered much attention (and lamentation), the price of coffee has accelerated rapidly, with September 2025 prices rising 19% above September 2024.

In one week, the Federal Reserve will meet and determine if any change to interest rates are necessary, given the tension between a sputtering labor market and overall inflation well above the 2% target. Be sure to grab your afternoon coffee and check AMT Online for an analysis of the decision and its impact on manufacturing technology demand.
