1. AI in Robotics Control

2. Chef ADAM Is a Robot

Richtech Robotics announced the installation of their robotic beverage system, ADAM, at a Ghost Kitchens in a Walmart in Georgia, starting a rollout to 240 locations in the United States. ADAM aims to improve operational efficiency and customer experience by automating drink preparation, potentially transforming the service industry. According to the letter of intent signed for this rollout, Richtech Robotics will handle ADAM’s programming, and Ghost Kitchens will manage logistics.

3. RAPID in Short

While RAPID 2024 offered minimal groundbreaking additive manufacturing tech, the conversations grew lively around falling investments and revenues, corporate consolidations, and broader adoption. This article argues significant innovation is still needed for AM to “compete” with traditional manufacturing. What? How much more innovation do you want? And “compete” is wrong. There is no competition with conventional manufacturing. There is, however, an open position in the workflow where additive can be implemented.

4. Occupy Batteries

Wall Street is investing heavily in America’s booming battery storage industry because of course they are. Entrepreneur Sheldon Kimber’s Intersect Power is installing large batteries in Texas and California to store solar energy collected during the day and selling it when usage and prices peak in the evening. Despite challenges like market volatility and evolving battery technology, the sector is rapidly growing, driven by solar expansion, investment, and government incentives.
