How Do Buyers Value Your Business

There’s an old saying that the best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is today. If you own your business, and are thinking about selling some day, the same adage can be applied. If you haven’t begun seriously planning your exit strategy, then today is the day to start. There’s no doubt you want to get the highest valuation, right? But are you really aware of all the components of your business that will impact how potential buyers might value it? Are you really steering in the right direction? The fact is there might be areas you aren’t considering right now, and areas you aren’t even aware you should be paying attention to, but should. What are those things that make your business worth more, and what are those areas that can make it unattractive? Join Steve Miller as he interviews Nick Adamy, Managing Director and the President of Adamy Valuation. He has extensive experience providing valuation, financial advisory, and expert witness services to private and public companies, business owners, corporate finance executives, investors, trustees, and attorneys.
