Former Undersecretary of Commerce, AMT consultant on trade issues

With more than 20 years of experience working in export control, technology transfer, and trade issues, Paul provides trade and export control strategy and consultation. Appointed by President Ronald Reagan, Paul served as the first Under Secretary for Export Administration at the Department of Commerce to separate the export control function from export promotion. He has also served as director of the Senate Banking Committee’s Subcommittee on International Finance, with jurisdiction over issues such as international trade and finance, technology transfer, the multilateral banks, and the International Monetary Fund.
