John Deere has confirmed a $55 million investment for a new plant in Mexico, set to begin operations in 2026. This facility will focus on manufacturing construction equipment. Notably, the industry in Mexico has experienced a 76% growth since 2022.
Parker Corp. is opening a new plant in Aguascalientes with a $10 million investment. The 4,000-square-meter facility will generate 200 jobs and produce insulation and air conditioning materials.

Gestamp, a Spanish multinational company specializing in manufacturing metal components for automobiles, has announced an initial investment of $20 million to build a new plant in Piracicaba. The project, part of the company's expansion strategy in Brazil, is expected to create 150 direct jobs and will mainly meet the demands of Hyundai based in the region.
Neuman & Esser announced that it would invest $11.54 million to expand its industrial park in Belo Horizonte and build the first factory of green hydrogen generators in South America. This investment will strengthen the energy matrix in Brazil and the world.
TEVX Higer Bus, a commercial vehicle manufacturer from China, announced a $110 million investment to acquire a factory in Sao Paulo. The unit will begin operating with the capacity to manufacture 400 electric buses dedicated to the urban segment per year, initially. The vehicles will arrive in Brazil partially assembled and receive components such as the engine, transmission, wheels, and tires. In the future, the company intends to move toward a CKD operation, carrying out part of the body assembly as well.
Volvo Construction Equipment has expanded its portfolio of machines produced in Brazil. The brand has nationalized production of the A45G articulated hauler at the Pederneiras factory complex. The nationalization resources are part of the $300 million in investments made by the Volvo Group in Brazil in 2023-2025.
ArcelorMittal announced investments worth $300 million in the expansion of the Santa Catarina unit. The Cold Mill Complex Project consists of the implementation of the new continuous steel galvanizing and annealing line, which increases the unit's installed capacity from 1.6 million tons per year to 2.2 million tons. The project also expands the product portfolio in the high-added-value coated and cold-rolled flat steel segment.
Randon has announced a new investment cycle totaling approximately $80 million to expand its production capacity with a focusing on expanding production of the semitrailer chassis at the company’s Araraquara unit. The investments, which began in 2024, will have repercussions over the coming years. The announcement as the company celebrates its 75-year anniversary.
FPT Industrial, an engine manufacturer for the Iveco Group, announced an investment of $50 million from 2025 to 2028. The resource will be exclusively allocated to research and development with a focus on Brazil, especially for decarbonization technologies.
The Brazilian subsidiary of German company Knorr-Bremse has started producing brakes equipped with the country's EBS (electronic braking and stability) system, which is mandatory for all road trailers produced in Brazil beginning January 2025. The use of the system in conventional trucks has been mandatory since the beginning of this year. With an investment of $10 million, the company became the first supplier to produce this type of brake for trailers in the country.
Toyota launched the cornerstone of the company’s $3 billion investment package in Brazil, which will run through 2030. The event took place at the Sorocaba plant. Two vehicles, one of which is new, are expected to be produced at the new plant. The project will allow the plant to expand its production capacity for vehicles and engines, as well as introduce two new, high-tech, energy-efficient hybrid flex models that combine electrification with biofuels.
