We sincerely wish you a year filled with happiness, health, and prosperity! While we don't feature content to enhance your personal happiness, every even-numbered year we host the Western hemisphere's largest manufacturing technology event, IMTS – The International Manufacturing Technology Show, and provide industry content to boost your career and enhance your business.

Take a step toward your business success by attending IMTS 2022, September 12-17, at McCormick Place, Chicago, Ill. You'll find hundreds of equipment and software solutions, increase your network, and gain ideas to enhance your career and business.

“Digital Manufacturing. Implemented.” – the theme for IMTS reflects advances in technology that are enabling manufacturers to be a part of the digital ecosystem and achieve efficiencies once thought of as unattainable. Expect to see a surge of digital manufacturing solutions throughout IMTS 2022.

Here's a sneak peek of what to expect:

Exhibitors: More than 1,250 exhibitors will display new technologies across more than 1,080,000 sq. ft., showcasing the absolute latest in manufacturing equipment and software, including new metalcutting machines embedded with digital technology and even additive processes. Expect to see transformative technologies embedded within much of our industry's traditional machines using automation and robotics, additive manufacturing, augmented and virtual reality, digital twin, generative design, and more. Explore exhibitors by name, product category, or location.

AMT's Emerging Technology Center (ETC): Hosted by AMT – The Association For Manufacturing Technology, which owns and operates IMTS, the ETC presents advancements that demonstrate the future of manufacturing, including many from the Manufacturing Demonstration Facility at the U.S. Department of Energy's Oak Ridge National Laboratory.

Focused Programs: IMTS recognizes that visitors come from many backgrounds and face unique challenges in their day-to-day business operations. Special programming and networking sessions are available for professionals in these communities: Job Shops, Women in Manufacturing, and Application and Design Engineers.

The Onshoring Project: For the first time at IMTS, the Onshoring Project will host an event for OEMs, subcontractors, and job shops to convene on achieving and maintaining agile supply chains for North American companies.

HANNOVER MESSE USA: Co-located with IMTS since 2021, this show features many international products and brings the industry together at a single venue.

AM4U Area: New for 2022, the AM Pavilion will encompass the AM4U Area, presented by Formnext. It is a multi-use zone on the show floor offering industry expert talks and seminars for the adoption of industrial AM. AM4U will be the first presence of a new partnership recently announced by AMT, Gardner Business Media (GBM), Mesago Messe Frankfurt (the organizers of Formnext, Europe's largest AM show), and Messe Frankfurt North America.

Educational and Conference Sessions: If you need a solution, you're sure to find it by attending one of the wide range of conference sessions ranging from deep dives on digital technology to improving your cybersecurity and sustainability efforts.
