In July, a new series, “Smart(er) Shop,” brought to you by Autodesk, debuted, which teaches viewers how to fix common shop floor problems.
IMTS+ is a new digital destination for the manufacturing technology community. The platform features original shows that take viewers behind the machines to meet the people who are driving manufacturing forward. If it’s manufacturing, it’s on IMTS+.
Follow the Leaders
Leaders. Luminaries. Legends. Whatever you call them, there are always people who stand out – and who are, frankly, outstanding. “Profiles in Manufacturing” tells the stories of these individuals, focusing on how they have helped shape and enhance the industry.
This season, viewers will meet Brian J. Papke, executive advisor to the board at Mazak Corp.; Lee B. Morris, chairman of Morris Group Inc.; and Aneesa Muthana, CEO and owner of Pioneer Service Inc.
They are all shining examples of authentic leadership in manufacturing. They are listeners, doers, thinkers, and makers who lead not by dictate but by example. And you will see them all in Chicago at IMTS.
Get Smart(er)
Dust collection, compressed air, and hoppers. They’re essential components of modern manufacturing shops. But what happens when they overflow, malfunction, or run dry? Everyone loses time and money. It’s time to do something smarter!
“Smart(er) Shop,” brought to you by Autodesk, addresses analog shop floor problems by applying affordable, easy-to-install digital solutions. In Season One, host Ryan Kelly, general manager of AMT’s San Francisco Tech Lab, joins Autodesk’s Adam Allard, senior manager, technical environments, at their Technology Center in Boston.
In less than 10 minutes per episode, Adam and his team deliver smart shop solutions that can be applied immediately. These solutions don’t require months of meetings, blueprints, big budgets, coding experience, or an engineering degree. With just a few hundred dollars and a few hours, you can make your shop smarter.
