20 Years of Workholding Trends

Without workholding, machining parts would be like trying to bake a cake without a baking dish – at best, you'd have a big mess to clean, and at worst, you'd need a new oven. While both machine and workholding orders have declined for about two years, economists are now forecasting double-digit growth in machine orders. Orders for workholding may follow with an increase of similar strength in 2025. Read the latest USMTO article to track how machine orders fare in 2025.
